Program
Our Inpatient Program at Olalla Guest Lodge encourages family and visitor participation in the Family Education Program. Your involvement is considered an important part of the patient’s treatment program and subsequent recovery. Your participation is designed to help you in the recovery process ahead.
Focus Time — In order for patients to adjust to their new surroundings, new patients entering Olalla have a four day period of “focus time,” beginning at the time of admission. During this time we ask that patients neither make or receive telephone calls.
Saturday Program — Attendance from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. is required if you wish to visit on Sunday. Visiting patients on Sunday is conditional on attendance in the Saturday Family Program. Saturday participants must be 12 years of age or older. We request that all who attend sign in at the office between 12:30 p.m. and 12:55 p.m. A facilitated children’s peer support group is available 1 to 4 p.m. for children ages four to 11. Children under 12 must attend this group. (No under age four please!) A children’s peer support group is available on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. for children ages 4-11.
Sunday Visiting — Sunday visiting is between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and open to all Saturday Family Program participants. Children of all ages may visit on Sundays if accompanied by a participant of the Saturday Program.
